Raising your Profile

Within 3 months of being hired as Business Development Consultant for Duns Castle Estate, Jonathan secured the property as the star of HomeAway's multi-million dollar global campaign linked to Disney's Beauty and the Beast (see case studies), beating off competition from across Europe. Within 5 months he secured the property as the launch venue for the Scottish Borders Heritage Festival and within 15 months had brought the property multiple award wins including Venue of the Year and Customer Experience of the Year  (at the 2017 Scottish Event Awards) and Tourism and Hospitality Business of the Year (at the 2017 Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards). Two months later, Jonathan's efforts saw the castle win a film location contract with Frontier Season 3 (Netflix), host a travel-trade Gala dinner and receive a Highly Commended award for Best Rural Hospitality at the 2018 Scottish Rural Awards.
